My favorite way to cook a cup of noodles is this:
- Preemptively add chili powder and salt
- Add boiling water, cook as long as normal
- Pour out water after it is cooked
- Add hot sauce(s)
- Stir
- Eat
- Poop fire
Also, I think I maybe mentioned it before that, Dr. Bob (the Food World version of Dr. Pepper) is delicious. Seriously, I like it better than Dr, Pepper. Not to mention you can get 3 liters of it for about a dollar. What's not to love?
Also also, I am really procrastinating writing this paper.
I always hoped I'd be able to post this and it have some sort of relevance. What a great fucking song.
Just to meet me in the morning
And I thought it was strange, you said everything changed
You felt as if you just woke up
And you said, this is the first day of my life
Glad I didn't die before I met you
Now I don't care, I could go anywhere with you
And I'd probably be happy
I should call my mom sometime. It has been a while since I have talked to someone I am related to (Chris, you are not included in this).
I was very cautious what'd you say
Hey there
Would you like to see me often?
Though you dont need to see me often
'Cause I'd like to see you often
Though I don't need to see you often
Fuck. I am genuinely sad that Michael Crichton died. I mean really. I think I've said before that Jurassic Park was the first novel that I ever read (quickly followed by The Lost World), and that he was what really got me into reading when I was a kid. I think from the ages of 7 to 10 I read the majority of his work, and I probably reread Jurassic Park and The Lost World every year until I was about 16. I just read Next a few months ago, and I have to say, it was pretty good. Prey and State of Fear were alright, but I think he did a really good job with Next. I guess it helped that I find genetics and genetic engineering fascinating though.
If you've never really read a lot of his stuff, here are my favorites:
- Jurassic Park
- The Lost World
- Timeline
- Airframe
- Next
- Congo
Fuuuuuuuck
What's your favorite saying?

What a great fucking song. Also, what a great fucking weekend. I guess I should say that this guy opened for Man Man, and he was pretty dang good. Two weeks.... Just two more weeks.
away from the snakes and the liars?
Down by the lake where the wild wind blows
free from the weight of desire
Holy shit holy shit holy shit. The Astronautalis show at Sluggo's was amazing. It was honestly the best show I've been to. Ever. And I have been to quite a few shows. If you have a chance to go see this guy perform, DO IT.
He was up on stage with Bleubird, and they just had hilarious banter going on the whole time. On stage they had a tikibar set up that one would sit behind and pour drinks while the other rapped. They were also reading terrible poetry in between songs from the Gulf Breeze High School's Literary Club's annual. It was great. Also, they were drinking Jameson whisky the whole time getting pretty drunk and rowdy towards the end. During the last song, Bleubird actually fell backwards off the stool he was sitting on. Andy's freestyles were pretty hilarious tonight too. One of them involved playing a prolapsed anus like a jawharp. I think that's all I have to say about that. Ahhhh! I can't get over how awesome it was. Seriously, GO SEE THEM.
Here are some pictures.
I'm almost disappointed the show was so good because now everything else will pale in comparison (i.e. the Man Man show this weekend). However, if this weekend even goes a 1/4 as well as last weekend went, I'll be pretty happy anyways.
SLEEPTIMEGO
I have been eating SweeTarts and Peanut m&m's for the last couple of hours and drinking Mountain Dew out of a mason jar. The most progress I have made on this paper so far is reading the wiki article on the Scientific Revolution. This is something that I find relatively interesting, by the way, but the whole idea of having to put thoughts on it down on paper up on computer screen is very daunting for some reason. It only has to be a thousand words long which really isn't all that long, but I'm also finding that amount to be daunting as well. I guess it's just that it's been a while since I've had to write a paper of substance. Frankly, I'm concerned the ol' analytical part of my ticker will be a little rusty. I've been mainly in a straightforward, mathematical mindset lately due to my bright idea of taking Pre-Calc and Trig this semester. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm finding the classes hard, I'm just overwhelmed by having to do classload's worth of math homework a night. Ugh.
This paper makes me sad. The Islands make me happy, though. It's all about balance.
wait and see
turn it off
turn me on
open your eyes look around you
fuck what you heard
you were lied to
Guess what movie we watched tonight.
